Part‑Time Sales Associate — Mooresville Re Store

Location:

Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region – Mooresville ReStore, 121 Norman Station Blvd, Mooresville, NC 28117. Pay: $17.75 per hour.

Hours:

Part‑time, up to 25 hours per week.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part‑Time Sales Associate to join our Mooresville ReStore team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales goals, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and determine their needs to provide helpful guidance.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate product benefits effectively.
  • Support sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
  • Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions at the point‑of‑sale.
  • Handle customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to reach store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
  • Support promotional activities and special events to boost engagement and sales.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required Education

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.
