Part‑Time Sales Associate — Mooresville Re Store
Location:
Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region – Mooresville ReStore, 121 Norman Station Blvd, Mooresville, NC 28117. Pay: $17.75 per hour.
Hours:
Part‑time, up to 25 hours per week.

About the RoleWe are seeking a friendly and motivated Part‑Time Sales Associate to join our Mooresville ReStore team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales goals, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and determine their needs to provide helpful guidance.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate product benefits effectively.
- Support sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions at the point‑of‑sale.
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to reach store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
- Support promotional activities and special events to boost engagement and sales.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Comfortable learning new products and point‑of‑sale systems.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to help customers.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.
