The smallest of Duke Health’s four hospitals at 123-beds, it offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and surgical specialties.

Responsible for the delivery of patient care thro ugh the nursing processof assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementatio n and evaluation.

Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with o therprofessional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient c aredelivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Work requires gradua tion from an accredited BSN program, Associate'sDegree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program.

One to three year s previous clinical nursing experience highly preferred. For specialty a rea a minimum of one year of previous experience in that area of specialt y required.

Requires c urrent American Heart Association BLS certification. Nationalcertificat ion in area of speciality and Non-violent Crisis Interventioncertificati on preferred.
