HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Immediately Hiring Experienced Machine Operators! Pay range $22.39 to $39.98 (based on experience). Paid weekly (additional $1 per hour night shift differential).

Machine Operator available shift: 7PM to 7AM
ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine Operator, your role is critical to the success of the line and the team. Each line has a target goal and achievement of these targets helps us cover our planned costs and achieve profitability. Operators are responsible for learning how to operate multiple lines and will collaborate with packers, leads, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and others to ensure the end product meets or exceeds customer expectations and internal targets.
Operators are expected to maintain a focus on safety first, quality second, and productivity and teamwork subsequently.
- Seek to understand and support a safety culture and workplace
- Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job
- Follow all required safety procedures for each task
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift
- Inspect product for defects and pack finished goods into the correct configuration
- Validate parts for quality (weight, diameter, color, clarity)
- Report any quality concerns to appropriate supervision on shift
- Startup/shutdown and basic troubleshooting of extruders, thermoformers, automation and auxiliary equipment
- Perform color changes and job changes according to the production schedule
- Ensure that all assigned equipment runs to standard
- Complete PM duties as part of the TPM program
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with running the line in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Work with minimal supervision and communicate with the team to escalate problems as needed
- Work each day to meet or exceed line targets while ensuring safety and quality
- Operators should remain focused on work; cell phone use is not permitted unless the line is down or it is break time
- Support team members who may need assistance or additional training
- Other tasks to support the overall team as needed
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well in group situations
- Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours due to the nature of the work
- Must be able to wear the required PPE to enter the plant
- Regular and timely attendance
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
