Responsibilities
Electrical distribution, plant air, and process water systems.
Batch mixing and weighing systems.
Furnace gas train, air handling systems and the furnace reversal system.
Tin bath operation and refractory repair.
High temperature resistance heater systems, repair high temperature insulation.
Laser based glass defect detection and automatic glass inspection systems.
Maintaining vibration analysis on high-speed fan impellers and bearing Systems.
Proper maintenance of x & y glass cutters and snap roll systems.
Siemens programmable logic controllers and the Bailey distribution control system.
Maintaining high temperature lift out and conveyor rolls.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on equipment and facilities
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
2-years technical degree or 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in fabrication and welding is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
