We are seeking a skilled CAD Programmer to join our fabrication team in Mooresville. In this role you will translate customer templates and field measurements into accurate CAD/CAM programs for CNC routers, CNC saws and waterjet equipment, ensuring every granite, quartz, and marble counter top meets our standards for fit and finish. The ideal candidate combines technical CAD proficiency with a practical understanding of stone fabrication and on‑site templating needs.

• Create and modify 2D CAD files from templating data, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Produce CNC programs, nested layouts, and toolpaths using industry CAD/CAM software for stone routers and bridge saws.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, edge profiles, and cut lists to ensure accurate fabrication of countertops, vanities, and architectural stone pieces.
• Collaborate with templaters, installers, and production staff to resolve field discrepancies and optimize fit.
• Perform digital templating checks and prepare shop tickets, labels, and machine setup documentation.
• Maintain version control of drawings and communicate changes clearly to production and installation teams.
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting process or nesting efficiencies that reduce waste and cycle time.

• Strong ability to read paperwork, take precise measurements, and apply dimensional math to fabrication tolerances.
• Experience generating nesting, toolpaths, and G‑code for routers and saws; understanding of tooling and feed/speed considerations.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced shop environment in Mooresville.
• Good communication skills and proven ability to coordinate with shop floor staff and installers.

• Experience with counter top templating, site verification, and familiarity with granite, quartz, and marble properties.
• 3+ years of CAD/CAM programming experience in stone, counter top, or related fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of industry‑specific software (e.g., Alpha Cam, Stoneapp or other stone fabrication packages).
• Basic mechanical aptitude for machine setup and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Prior work in a custom stone or kitchen & bath fabrication shop.
