Business Intelligence Developer at Heartland Hospice
Location:
Mooresville, North Carolina, United States
Employment:
Full Time
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business intelligence, computer science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, analytics, software development, or data management
- Strong SQL or Python programming skills
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database modeling and development
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Familiarity with BI reporting technologies such as Micro Strategy, Tableau, SSRS, Power BI
- Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP systems and data modeling best practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Engineer optimized data structures for analytics purposes
- Document design specifications and test plans to ensure accuracy of delivered data solutions
- Interpret data and relationships within OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) systems
- Monitor and manage integration elements to ensure performance and customer satisfaction
- Provide support across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to production maintenance
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and issue resolution
