Pursue your passion for caring with Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, North Carolina. The smallest of Duke Health's four hospitals at 123 beds, it offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and surgical specialties.

Perform and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice, working in accordance with physician orders in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Knowledge necessary for appropriate clinical decisions and interactions across all patient age groups. Certification of competencies for the duties of a Level I RT. Ability to work with patients of all ages, families, physicians, and healthcare team members across hospital areas. Ability to lift or push over 30 pounds; carry an emergency airway bag (~20 pounds); perform walking, running, climbing, and bending.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate's Degree or equivalent). Maintenance of annual skills, safety, and compliance requirements, including North Carolina licensure and CEUs.

Experience:

Six months to one year of clinical experience post-graduation.

North Carolina State Licensure (RRT) by the NBRC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation (if applicable).
