Position Overview

The Commissions Analyst is an entry-level role on GTN’s Finance team, responsible primarily for processing commissions received from travel partners and ensuring accurate, timely payments to our independent contractor advisors.

This role is ideal for someone early in their finance or accounting career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within afinanceoperations environment. You will report directly to the Commissions Manager and gain hands-on exposure to commission processing, reconciliations, accounting systems, and advisor support.

This is an in-office position based in Mooresville, NC. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Gifted Travel Network does not provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Commission Processing & Finance Support

  • Receive and process commission payments from travel partners via check, wire, and ACH
  • Accurately record commission activity and perform regular entries in Quick Books
  • Execute bi-monthly commission payment runs to advisors
  • Track and manage unreconciled or missing commissions and follow up as needed
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation
  • Monitor and manage a high-volume commissions inbox
  • Respond to advisor inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and strong customer service
  • Follow up with travel partners and internal stakeholders regarding commission discrepancies

Additional Finance & Office Support

  • Assist the Finance Director with data entry, receipt tracking, and ad hoc finance projects
  • Support general office operations as needed (mail processing, supply restocking, basic office upkeep)
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Commission payments are processed accurately and on schedule
  • Minimal unreconciled commissions with clear tracking and follow-up
  • Advisors receive timely, clear responses to commission-related questions
  • Financial data in Quick Books is clean, complete, and reliable
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of office, administrative, accounting, or finance-related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively researching solutions
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data review)
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
Preferred
  • Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software
  • Exposure to accounts receivable, commissions, or payment processing
  • Associate degree required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, or Accounting)
  • Salary: $45,000 annually
  • Full-time, non-exempt position

    Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
