CMM Programmer

We’re seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our Quality Assurance team and play a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of our medical implant products. In this position, you will program and operate Hexagon Metrology CMMs using PC-DMIS to verify critical dimensions on high-precision components. Your expertise will help maintain full compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards and support the safety and performance of products that improve patient lives.

• Develop, optimize, and run CMM inspection programs for medical implants and precision components.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings,
  GD&T, and 3D CAD models to build accurate inspection strategies.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections for titanium, stainless steel, and other high-precision parts.
• Analyze results, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve processes and workflows.
• Support gage R&R studies, calibration, and validation efforts.
• Train and guide QC inspectors on CMM operation and inspection interpretation.

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years of CMM programming experience in a regulated, high-precision environment (medical device, aerospace, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and 3D CAD (Solid Works or equivalent).
• Proficiency with CMM software;
  PC-DMIS highly preferred

• Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
