Electrical Engineer - Charlotte, NC

As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide hands‑on technical support for electrical and instrumentation infrastructure at natural gas compressor stations and processing facilities.

• Work independently on mid‑sized projects and technical assignments supporting operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair low, medium, and high‑voltage electrical systems.
• Support electrical equipment outages and maintenance activities, including switch gear, variable‑frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and power distribution centers (PDCs).
• Lead and participate in commissioning and start‑up activities for new and modified facilities.
• Conduct standards and electrical code compliance evaluations and develop projects to address identified deficiencies.
• Utilize computer modeling and data analysis tools to support problem‑solving and solution development.
• Maintain and update electrical documentation, including P&IDs, one‑line diagrams, and schematics.
• Coordinate and review arc flash studies, grounding systems, and power system protection.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (preferred).
• Minimum of four (4) years of industrial experience in an Electrical Engineer role within the natural gas or petrochemical industry.
