Job Summary

Join our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This position offers opportunities for growth into leadership or elevated lab roles, providing an excellent career progression path.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of in-process batches, raw materials, and finished products.
  • Verify formula and component specifications on batch tickets.
  • Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments, including viscometers, chemical balances, pH meters, gloss meters, solids analyzers, spectrophotometers, FTIR, NIR, and Gas Chromatographs.
  • Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to test results on batch tickets and in the company’s computer operating system.
  • Organize and maintain quality records and retains of production batches.
  • Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
  • Conduct in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
  • Perform routine production quality checks to ensure finished products are filled and packaged according to specifications.
  • Audit laboratory and production work instructions to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Policy.
Essential Skills
  • Associates or Bachelors in Scientific Discipline preferred with Chemistry Laboratory experience.
  • If lacking Bachelors, must have 2+ years of QC and Chemistry laboratory experience within a GMP environment required.
  • Must have 1+ years of tenure with previous employers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, IN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
