Join Kenvue as the Manager of Distribution Quality and Compliance. We are seeking a leader with deep expertise in quality management systems within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer products.
Role OverviewThe Manager will oversee the Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at the Distribution Center. Working closely with internal and external partners, you will drive innovation while ensuring initiatives are delivered in a compliant and efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Oversight of processes and systems related to cGMPs, product handling and storage, quality investigations, and managing partnerships with 3PLs, franchises, and affiliates.
- Serve as the single point of contact on distribution quality matters to drive timely resolution of quality issues.
- Lead 24/7 operations of the Distribution Center, continuously improving quality, cost, and time factors while aligning with business objectives.
- Quality oversight of the receiving process, dispositioning of damaged packages, product destruction processes, quarantine/hold/stop-ship/recall processes, and pick/pack/ship operations.
- Ensure returned product disposition, approval of rework or special inspection operations.
- Manage temperature-controlled facilities, monitoring environmental conditions and handling temperature excursions.
- Provide input to Warehouse Management Systems and oversee records/document management, including validation, implementation, and change of related software systems.
- Guide 3PLs on procedure creation/revisions to align with Kenvue quality agreements and policies.
- Oversee complaints (e.g., OS&D product and service-related) including tracking and trending.
- Create, review, and approve risk assessment reports; recommend corrective actions and monitor progress; advance issues to CQ Leadership.
- Conduct internal quality audits of DCs, oversee facility licenses, and co-manage health authority inspections (e.g., FDA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a technical field.
- 6–8 years of experience in a highly regulated industry; QA/QC experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or consumer products industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Up to 20% domestic travel required.
- Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, or ASQ certification and training preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and temperature-control transportation preferred.
Annual base salary: $124,100 – $175,200 (dependent on location, skill, experience, and education).
