Lab Technician Specialist
Capital Adhesives is seeking a Lab Technician Specialist to support quality control, technical service, and laboratory operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring quality standards are met, documentation is accurate, and lab equipment and procedures are maintained.
JOB SUMMARY: Lab Technicians will perform duties assigned to ensure quality standards are met, technical support is optimized, documentation is thorough, and lab equipment and procedures are properly maintained.
Responsibilities- Assist with training new staff.
- Execute assigned work promptly.
- Support supervisor guidance with lab equipment, maintenance, and calibration.
- Ensure timely responses to assigned lab work, regulatory requests, and complaints.
- Follow company policies and contribute to a positive company culture.
- Provide direct customer support as required, both in person and digitally.
- Ensure quality control processes are followed and execute QC of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with company guidelines.
- Execute lab work by promptly completing assigned RFLs and making final product recommendations, including same day communication for retain checks.
- Complete assigned documentation including SDS, TDS, product guarantees, COA, COC, and product statements, with same day response for existing documentation and next day response for new documentation.
- Execute testing and disposition for returned products through RFCR.
- Provide product testing to support qualification of procured raw materials.
- Properly store and organize samples, retains, and raw materials.
- Schedule will be assigned by the Lab Manager. This is an hourly position and overtime must be pre‑approved.
- Perform lab duties of the Lab Supervisor when required, including assigning lab work, answering the technical support line, ordering supplies and equipment, and making recommendations.
- Be willing to travel when necessary to provide designated technical support and manage accounts electronically or in person, including trials.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of related experience required.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
