Role at a GlanceTitle: Manufacturing Projects Lead — CNC/Toolroom
Location: Mooresville, IN
Type: Full-Time
- Be the point of contact for customers—from inquiries and quotes to ECNs, CCRs, POs, and Order Acknowledgments.
- Support inside sales while steering projects from quote through delivery.
- Align with the Engineering Assistant on job setups, materials acquisition, and interpretation of prints/designs.
- Build and maintain thorough job folders with prints, paperwork, certifications, 3D models, and CAD data.
- Issue requisitions for materials, supplies, and tooling.
- Coordinate design work as needed by the project.
- Plan deliveries, balance shop workload, and release jobs in coordination with the Operations Manager and Division Manager.
- Track progress on the floor, provide hands‑on support, and drive on‑time completion.
- Report on completeness, profitability, and risks in partnership with operations teams.
- Develop additional business with existing customers and assist outside sales with quoting, application engineering, and customer visits.
- Improve shop organization to boost proficiency, efficiency, and flow.
- Work with the QMR to uphold ISO compliance across processes.
- Coordinate work across internal divisions and external vendors.
- Education:
High school diploma required;
Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. - Experience:
3+ years in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.
