The Software Integration & Test Engineer plays a critical role in supporting system-level software integration within a laboratory environment. This position involves executing requirement-driven manual and automated integration testing, supporting software loading and lab operations, and troubleshooting across distributed software components and pub/sub architectures. The role requires hands-on engagement with live systems, gray-box analysis of production code, and the development of integration support tools in a configuration-controlled environment.

• Execute system-level software integration and testing in a laboratory environment.
• Conduct requirement-driven manual and automated integration testing.
• Support software loading and lab operations.
• Troubleshoot distributed software components and pub/sub architectures.
• Engage with live systems for hands-on testing and analysis.
• Perform gray-box analysis of production code.
• Develop integration support tools in a configuration-controlled environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• 2-4 years of experience with software test and integration.
• Ability to read and modify C++ code.
• Experience in setting up and executing test procedures in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.

• U.S. citizenship with an active or recent DoD security clearance.
• Experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering in a structured, configuration-controlled environment.
• Experience executing system-level test procedures derived from documented requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed software systems in Linux/Unix environments.
• Ability to read and analyze production software code written in C/C++, Java, or similar languages.

Work is performed at a designated facility in Moorestown, with occasional travel to a nearby main plant. Initially, the role involves 90% manual testing for the first 1-2 years, transitioning to automated testing. The position supports testing outside standard business hours and offers long-term contracts with continuous work and annual raises. The facility accommodates approximately 600 employees on site.

This is a Contract position based out of MOORESTOWN, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
