Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree with 20+ years of systems engineering and project management experience at Lockheed Martin developing, maturing, and delivering the Aegis Weapon System to U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency Customers
• 20+ years experience managing cost, schedule, and manpower planning for large programs with greater than 200+ FTE engineers
• Proposal experience with large U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency RFP submissions for >$500M program awards
• DOD Top Secret level clearance
• Experienced U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer
• Detailed knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense design for Aegis Baseline 9 systems
• Past history leading teams of 200+ FTEs in Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense design and systems engineering

The experienced Technical Expert in all aspects of Aegis Weapon System will be responsible for:

• Providing technical guidance for Aegis Real World operations
• Instilling System Engineering principles and rigor at all levels of engineering workforce
• Expanding business into adjacent space opportunities
• Establishing a pipeline for IRAD work transitions to contract scope, improving management of data and analysis processes and tools, and evolving Aegis applications for future warfare
