Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team. This role involves inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality. The successful candidate will conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, right to know, and mold, perform air monitoring, and provide contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects. Additionally, the role requires maintaining, operating, and calibrating a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment, as well as technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data.

Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital.

Responsibilities

* Inspect and monitor on-site for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality.

* Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, right to know, and mold.

* Perform air monitoring and provide oversight during asbestos abatement projects.

* Maintain, operate, and calibrate various sampling and monitoring equipment.

* Write technical reports and interpret analytical data.

* Ensure timeliness, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to emergencies.

Essential Skills

* Experience in on-site monitoring for environmental hazards such as asbestos and mold.

* Proficient in conducting detailed surveys for hazardous materials.

* Skilled in air monitoring and providing contractor oversight.

* Competence in maintaining and calibrating sampling and monitoring equipment.

* Strong report writing skills and ability to interpret analytical data.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred.

* Lead licenses preferred.

* Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and construction.

* High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma.

* Experience in general labor, construction, industrial hygiene, and safety.

Work Environment

This full-time position involves working in the field with occasional trips to the Moorestown office. The role requires availability for day and evening shifts, with occasional weekend work. This hybrid position allows for a dynamic work environment, with a combination of fieldwork and office responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Moorestown, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
