Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Early Career Network Systems Engineer. In this role you will participate in infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration, and test. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Linux and network systems, as well as ensuring their performance and reliability.

Some travel is required to off‑site locations.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience using Agile methodology.
• Experience using scripting languages, such as Python, Ansible, and/or bash.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and a U.S. citizen for consideration; this position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools, automation, and applying best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing network infrastructures, including network device set up and configuration.
• Familiarity with network switching and routing concepts and protocols.
• Experience with Linux (preferably Red Hat).
• Familiarity with concepts of cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non‑technical staff.
• Coursework in Computer Architecture, Networking, Digital Systems, Microprocessors, Cybersecurity, and/or system hardening.

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

  Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week to condensed schedules that offer additional time away from the office.
• Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour days, 3 days off per week.
• Base range for this position in New Jersey: $61,500–$116,455.
