Senior Systems Integration Engineer – Radar & Missile Defense Systems We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at our client site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, software development, and system integration for radar and missile defense applications, along with strong team leadership capabilities. This role requires a solid technical background in Linux, MATLAB, IBM Rational, and Python, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

The candidate will also manage cost accounts and lead requirements development and system integration efforts. Responsibilities:

• Work in a team of engineers to develop and integrate advanced radar and missile defense systems for defense applications.

• Design, write, and manage system and software requirements for radar, sensor fusion, tracking, and missile defense capabilities, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs.

• Perform data analysis and code reviews related to radar signal processing, tracking algorithms, and weapon system integration to ensure system integrity and resolve issues.

• Coordinate and lead system upgrades and technology insertions, including transitions to new radar software, hardware platforms, and missile defense architectures.

• Serve as a key technical point of contact for radar and missile defense system integration projects, providing subject matter expertise and leadership.

• Develop and implement integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) documentation, test plans, and processes for radar and missile defense systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, algorithm, and test) to ensure seamless end-to-end system integration and deployment.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux, MATLAB, IBM Rational, and Python

• Experience with radar systems, missile defense, sensor integration, and tracking systems

• Data analysis experience, including MySQL

• Cost account management

• Requirement writing and management (system, software, and interface requirements)

• System design, integration, test, and documentation

Experience:

• Proven track record working in engineering teams supporting radar and missile defense programs.

• Extensive experience designing and writing requirements for complex defense systems, including radar, sensors, and interceptor systems.

• Strong background in data analysis, algorithm assessment, and code reviews.

• Experience coordinating system upgrades, platform transitions, and technology refresh efforts.

• Ability to serve as a technical expert and primary integration lead for radar and missile defense projects.

• Skilled in developing and implementing documentation, test procedures, and integration processes for mission-critical defense systems.
