About the Opportunity
Lockheed Martin's Launchers Integrated Engineering team seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support Launchers and Weapons programs. The role requires technical problem‑solving, big‑picture thinking, and strong collaboration across internal and external partners.
Responsibilities- Derive lower‑level requirements and manage requirements and verification details in DOORS.
- Author test plans, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop Requirement Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM).
- Collaborate with design engineers, test engineers, field technicians, and representatives from Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and other engineering disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline; 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven ownership of significant tasks, on‑schedule completion, and clear documentation.
- Secret level security clearance; US citizenship required.
- Self‑starter capable of working with minimal day‑to‑day supervision and effectively collaborating with peers and seniors.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Rhapsody or CAMEO preferred.
Competitive salary range $75,000–$135,961. Remote telework part‑time; part of schedule on site. 4×10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
