Position summary:

Our cafe associates prepare food orders and provide fast and friendly service. We take pride in every aspect of our work and strive to create a warm and friendly environment for members.

• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal production; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions; handle payments and merchandise location; resolve member issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Act as a brand advocate; inspire and support others to work in a respectful, collaborative style; assist in training and removing roadblocks.
• Comply with company policies and ethical standards; apply Open Door Policy in daily work and business practices.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Food Service experience;
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is a plus.
