Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? As a Rehab LPN on our night shift team, you will provide direct patient care using the nursing process. Your role is crucial in ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while collaborating with various departments to deliver exceptional care.
Position DetailsIn this dynamic role, you will:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other team members.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
- Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: A current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
- Experience: Relevant nursing experience is a plus.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire).
- Additional certifications may be required based on your specific unit, including but not limited to:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required.
