We are an established independent agency (founded in 2007) seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for managing a diverse book of commercial accounts, serving as a trusted client advisor, and supporting producers to drive agency growth. This role is designed for a high-level professional who can handle complex accounts, influence agency processes, and help mentor the service team.

• Act as primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts.
• Provide proactive risk management guidance and client service.
• Partner with producers to deliver tailored solutions, renewals, and retention strategies.
• Handle policy changes, endorsements, certificates, billing, and compliance.
• Negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive terms and pricing.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

• Active Property & Casualty license (required).
• 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience (independent agency preferred).
• Professional designation (CIC, CISR, CRM, CPCU) is a plus.
• Experience managing a range of small to mid-sized commercial accounts, with the ability to handle more complex accounts as the book grows.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial coverages and markets.
