We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. This role is ideal for a licensed therapist who is dedicated to providing specialized respiratory care to patients with complex, long-term needs. As a Respiratory Therapist in an LTAC environment, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and manage patients who are often ventilator‑dependent, have chronic respiratory issues, or require intensive pulmonary rehabilitation.

Starting hourly pay: $46.00
What You’ll DoIn this position, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality respiratory care, monitoring patients’ respiratory statuses, and ensuring that all respiratory treatments are tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. Your expertise will contribute significantly to each patient’s recovery, quality of life, and overall well‑being.
Requirements- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
- RT license or RTT in the state of assignment
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with prior LTAC or ICU experience preferred
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- RT License or RTT Certification

Responsibilities- Perform assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans based on patients' conditions and treatment goals.
- Administer respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and bronchodilator treatments.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patients' respiratory status, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize respiratory treatments and patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory care, equipment usage, and home care practices.
- Document all care provided and maintain thorough, accurate patient records.
- Adhere to all LTAC hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
