Process Mechanical Pipefitter – Montrose, Water

As part of the Graham Group, Moltz Construction Inc. is headquartered in Colorado, specializing in water and wastewater projects. The Process Mechanical Pipefitter will assist skilled trade workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various piping systems located in Montrose, near Delta, CO.

• Install process pipe, valves & fittings including ductile iron, PVC, steel and HDPE; install complex process equipment and grade trenches or culverts.
• Participate in system testing, startup and commissioning.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements needed for working in and around pipe trenches.
• Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Be capable of lifting heavy objects, shoveling, and grading pipe trenches.

• 2‑3 years of construction experience preferred; 2‑5 years of experience in water, wastewater, or industrial piping preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and anticipate the needs of the job.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and communicate with team members.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, maintenance, and the ability to determine the appropriate tool needed to do the job.

• Compensation: $30‑35 per hour, based on experience.
