2 years of current experience required. COVID vaccine required. educate patients on respiratory disorders, appropriate use of medications and respiratory plan for discharge home.
Draw ABG (arterial blood gas) samples for testing. Application and monitoring of medical gases, humidification systems, ventilator support. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management and intubation/tracheotomy assistance. Be proficient with (or able to learn) all modes of ventilation used form necessary procedures with non-invasive methods such as CPAP and BIPAP therapies. Perform diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function Testing, Electrocardiograms, Electroencephalograms and Home sleep testing.
Already competent or willing to learn and become competent in diagnostic areas.
