• Montrose Regional Health (MRH) is a non‑profit, Joint Commission accredited hospital that provides personalized, professional healthcare in 23 specialties and sub‑specialties.

• Respiratory Care Services provides diagnostic studies and respiratory care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Practitioners perform inhaled medications, postural drainage, airway care, and oxygen therapy for patients with acute and chronic diseases, post‑surgical patients, chest trauma, and coronary disease.

• Performs all procedures in the clinical area, including respiratory care consults, ventilator management, bedside diagnostics, and assistance with outpatient diagnostics.
• Uses RT protocols and MD orders for therapy procedures and ventilator management.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC.
• BLS and ALCS required on hire. PALS and NRP required within 9 months of hire.
• Current, competent basic knowledge of intensive care and neonatal intensive care, including EKG, ABG, spirometry, and oximetry.
• Team player, compassionate, detail‑oriented, strong communication skills, patience, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
