About The Cardiology Department:
The Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is supported by a compassionate, educated, and experienced staff of nurses, technologists, and nuclear medicine technologists with over 150 years of combined experience in cardiology.
The goal of our department is to perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations as precisely, thoroughly, and efficiently as possible. Our aim is to provide accurate diagnoses that lead to the best treatments, ultimately improving and prolonging patients' quality of life.
About The Career:
The Cardiac Sonographer will perform a variety of tests including transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiograms, carotid, venous, and arterial studies within the laboratory. The role involves optimizing all available imaging modalities to produce comprehensive tests that meet organizational standards. The sonographer will perform quality exams for interpretation by physicians, ensuring results and data are accurately recorded.
All About You:
- RDCS registered.
- BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS preferred.
- ARRT registered or CVT.
- One-year experience preferred but not mandatory.
