Pay: $18.00 - $22 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule: Part Time, Monday, Thursday & Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing and assisting clients with activities of daily living and supportive care.
Qualities &
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- License: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) license in the state required.
- Experience: Minimum one year’s experience working with the frail or elderly population required.
- Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations required before direct participant contact.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and means of transportation required.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of CNA principles, practices and techniques.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.
- Knowledge of medical equipment use and maintenance.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, co‑workers, medical staff and the public.
- Problem identification and resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Calm and effective in emergency situations.
- Computer skills for timekeeping and documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Consults as needed with RN Case Manager, ADON, or Director of Clinical Services.
- Under direction, assist clients in the home with: /ul> ul>
- Personal hygiene (skin, mouth, hair care, bathing/showering).
- Assistance with bed/bedside positioning and ambulation.
- Assisting with prescribed exercises.
- Assisting bathroom use or commodes, bedpans.
- Other duties as taught by a health professional, e.g., vital signs, changing colostomy or non‑sterile dressing, bowel and bladder hygiene.
- Complete documentation using Electronic Medical Records.
- Follow all HHWCO policies, OSHA safety guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Handle infectious specimens with biohazard precautions and Universal Precautions.
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Act within scope of authority to practice.
- Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, certifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required.
