Our team is currently looking for a versatile Class 1 Driver
. We are looking for a candidate who adapts easily to change and is ready to take on new challenges.
What you'll be responsible for:
Performing daily truck inspectionsFollowing the schedule and itinerary provided by the supervisorPicking up and delivering ferrous and non‑ferrous metals in accordance with applicable safety standardsCompleting all required transportation documentationPerforming basic truck maintenanceEnsuring customer satisfactionDriving the vehicle in a safe and efficient mannerPerforming pre‑trip inspections before hitting the roadEnsuring that all safety standards established by law and by the employer are respected at all times, without exceptionRegularly operating various types of heavy vehiclesMoving and cleaning out our trailersQualifications
To join our team:
You hold a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license
, with a good driving recordYou have at least 2 years of experienceYou are familiar with hydraulic systemsYou have experience driving a variety of heavy vehicles, such as 12‑wheel roll‑offs, 4‑axle dump trucks, 4‑axle carcass trailers, etc.You are safety‑consciousYou are in excellent physical conditionYou have strong customer service skillsYou are reliable, diligent, and punctualYou take good care of equipment and tools
