Position settingsThe position is based at our Mirabel facility, from Saturday to Monday and exclusively on‑site.
Typical day‑to‑day duties- Responsible for engineering support for on‑time PQUAD deliveries and for resolving engine technical issues at FAL.
- Contribute to the department or business unit financial success by proactively resolving technical issues to meet performance objectives, reduce costs and improve product quality.
- Handle responsibilities that span multiple disciplines and organizations, including the customer.
- Manage transfer of title of the PQUAD to the customer (Airbus).
- Support Operations FAL to plan and execute work on the aircraft.
- Support Airbus Delivery Center to resolve engine issues prior to aircraft transfer of title.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 3‑7 years of experience.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Experience in a Production or In‑Service Support role mandatory.
- Understanding of internal/external customer requirements with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, project management and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and external customers.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to assimilate knowledge and achieve results in a fast‑paced, high‑performance and high‑stress environment.
- Basic knowledge and exposure to CARs/FARs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems using applicable Fault Isolation Manuals (FIM).
