Description:
We are seeking for a creative and innovative Java Technical Lead / Architect, someone who wants to be part of our fast-paced and transformational Agile team.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Convert client requirements into solution architecture and design
• Be part of a collaborative software engineering team working with technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, No
SQL, Docker, Open Shift, Kubernetes and more.
• A Dev Ops and CI/CD enthusiast who will promote a culture and an environment which unites Agile with continuous delivery, integration, monitoring and automation to help development and operations teams be more efficient, innovate faster, and deliver higher value while looking to leverage the benefits of AI.
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies and use cases
• Provide technical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of tools, technologies, and architecture models
• Provide direction, coaching and technical leadership guidance to the development teams during application development life cycle
• Work collaboratively with agile teams to understand the business domain and client requirements that drive analysis, architecture/design and development of quality technical solutions and deliverables. These solutions cross a broad spectrum of technologies and must align with business and IT strategies and to comply with the organization’s architectural and security standards.
• Contribute to Business development activities by responding to RFP/RFA and prepare Change Request Impact Assessment by offering technical solutions and providing cost estimations
• Contribute to the development of Statements of Work and Proposals
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of software engineering, specializing in Java application design and development
• Experience with REST API, Spring Boot, JEE/Java, Avro, Openshift, XML, JSON, UML, Maven, Jenkins, Swagger, Microservices, Kafka, No
SQL, Graph
DB, Docker, Open Shift, and Kubernetes
• Strong interest in innovation
• Teammate who adapts well to uncertainty or changing needs
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Strong, proactive leadership capabilities

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,–$,. This role is a future opportunity.
