Mid-Level Software Developer; PHP​/Symfony​/React

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our development process, you will contribute to the creation of new software products and the enhancement of our existing large-scale applications. • Develop and maintain clean, high-performance, and scalable code using PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Design and manage our Maria
  
  DB databases, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Build and support our applications, including database integration, interfaces, and new features.
• Work with our Dev Ops team to deploy and manage applications using AWS, ECS, and EKS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals.
• Actively participate in code reviews to maintain our high standards of quality.
• Assist in the testing and deployment of new products and features.

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong preference for 3-5 years in the field.
• Solid, hands-on experience with object-oriented PHP, particularly with the Symfony framework.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically Maria
  
  DB or MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS, including hands-on work with ECS and/or EKS (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with caching services such as Valkey or Redis.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React/Type Script is a strong asset.
• A solid grasp of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Docker, pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be currently located in and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
