Position: CRIMINOLOGUE-CRIMINOLOGIST
Location: Montréal-Est

Description du poste

Personne qui évalue les facteurs criminogènes et le comportement délictueux de la personne ainsi que les effets d’un acte criminel sur la victime. Elle détermine un plan d’intervention et en assure la mise en œuvre.

Elle soutient et rétablit les capacités sociales de la personne contrevenante et de la victime dans le but de favoriser l’intégration dans la société de l’être humain en interaction avec son environnement.

Elle conçoit, évalue et met en application des activités de recherche, d'intervention ou de consultation à caractère criminologique.

Must hold a bachelor's degree in criminology.

Must be a member of the Ordre professionnel des criminologues du Québec.

  • Services and Programs (depending on needs):
    • Prevention & Promotion Services:
      Family House, Parenting Skills, Community Well‑being & Health, Suicide Prevention, Addiction Prevention, Community Organization, Sexual Violence Prevention
    • Proximity Services:
      Local Workers, Community Caregivers, Mobile Intervention Team, Social Services, Early Childhood
    • Specialized Services:
      Sexual Violence, Addictions
  • Main Responsibilities – Psychosocial Worker – Far north:
    • Take responsibility for assessing the psychosocial needs of the individual and their environment.
    • Guide individuals toward appropriate resources and services.
    • Implement client treatment plans.
    • Contribute to interdisciplinary interventions.
    • Ensure continuity of services.
    • Contribute to the quality and continuous improvement of services.
    • Contribute to the efficient management of your activity center.
Exigences spécifiques / Specific Requirements
  • Bilingual (French, English);
    Inuktitut is an asset.
  • Hold a driver’s license.
  • 9 consecutive weeks in the North followed by 4 weeks of leave.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Quebec’s health and social services network.
  • Academic requirements: A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, psychoeducation, criminology, or sexology.
  • Membership in the Order of Social Workers (OTSTCFQ), Order of Psycho educators (OPPQ), Order of Criminologists (OPCQ), or Order of Sexologists (OPSQ).
