Main Responsibilities – Psychosocial Worker – Grand Nord

• Take responsibility for assessing the psychosocial needs of the individual and their environment.
• Guide individuals toward appropriate resources and services.
• Implement client treatment plans.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary interventions.
• Ensure continuity of services.
• Contribute to the quality and continuous improvement of services.
• Contribute to the efficient management of your activity center.

• Bilingue (français, anglais), l'inuktitut est un atout.
• Posséder un permis de conduire.
• 9 semaines consécutives dans le Nord suivies de 4 semaines de congé.
• Minimum de deux ans d'expérience dans le réseau de la santé et des services sociaux du Québec.
• Membre de l'Ordre des travailleurs sociaux (OTSTCFQ), de l'Ordre des psychoéducateurs (OPPQ), de l'Ordre des criminologues (OPCQ) ou de l'Ordre des sexologues (OPSQ) ou diplôme de baccalauréat en psychologie, travail social, psychoéducation, criminologie ou sexologie.

Established according to the workplace and family situation. Cost of living minimums and retention minimums as follows:

• Life – Minimum: $30.27 per week.
• Isolation – Minimum: $227.69 per week.
• Retention – Minimum: $139.13 per week.

• All positions may be subject to a selection process, including tests and interviews.
• Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement will be given priority when qualifications are equal.
• Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometres from the locality in which they are called to perform their duties will be granted annual trips and lodging per status.
• Shared lodging or transit if necessary.
• Nordic premiums apply only when the home port is in one of the northern villages; the amounts of Nordic premiums indicated are “without dependents.”
