Truck Mechanic
Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. Reporting to the team leader, the Truck Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing various equipment while regularly reporting to their team leader.
What you’re responsible for:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations
To join our team:
- Training: DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
- PEP card. (Asset)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Computer Skills: Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
- Driver’s License
- Safety: Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and adherence to safety protocols.
