Location: Bromont

Tasks

  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Work on control systems, instrumentation, and welding.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and implement regular maintenance plans.
  • Install, adjust, and repair equipment according to standards.
  • Contribute to the installation of new equipment and modification of existing systems.
  • Test machines to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on the building.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to solve urgent problems.
  • Be available for emergency calls, with occasional but rare travel.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

  • Job requirements

  • DEP in electromechanics, DEP in industrial mechanics with an electrical certificate, DEC in automated systems electromechanics, or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanics in a similar environment in Quebec.
  • Practical experience in the food processing, pharmaceutical, or military sectors in Quebec.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley programmable controllers.
  • Ability to meet high quality and productivity standards.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, work standing, sitting, bending, and lift up to 25 kg if necessary.
  • Ability to work in dusty environments and not be afraid to get your hands dirty.
  • Welding certificate, C license, RCA, and MMF Class 4 are major assets.
