Diageo Brand Ambassadors - Alcohol Beverage Sampling Team

Are you outgoing and enthusiastic about interacting with people? If promoting the best brands to today’s shoppers sounds appealing, a position as a Brand Ambassador with us, is the place for you! We are looking for part time Product Demonstrators who will promote alcoholic beverages, share liquor samples (spirits, wine, beer and ready to drink products) and provide information to consumers.

Training – Online: provided prior to your first day in field

Hours:

Most shifts are Friday & Saturdays (approx. 4pm to 8pm on Fri & 12noon to 4pm on Sat)

• $24/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome consumers visitors to the space

• Serve Diageo brand products to consumers

• Converse with consumers

• Deliver key messaging about the products

• Are comfortable working independently

• Love to interact with customers (If you are very shy, this may not be the job for you

• Think you have what it takes to have an impact on consumers purchase decisions

• Are confident in your ability to meet sampling & sales targets

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certifications - Liquor Certification - Service in action (QC) (please provide your certification during the screening process)

• Vehicle Access

• Outgoing, enthusiastic, and energetic personality

• Comfortable engaging shoppers, sharing product knowledge and closing the sale

• Dependable and reliable when working within an assigned schedule

• Independent and self-motivated

• Be of legal drinking age in the province in which you resid

• Comfortable engaging with customers

• Comfortable standing for long periods of time

• Strong customer service and communication service

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Brand Ambassador experience – considered an asset

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask as needed

• Ability to present yourself professionally in any setting
