About Draganfly:
Draganfly Inc. (the “Company”) has been a recognized technology leader within the commercial UAV space for over two decades. We helped establish the commercial market & adoption of multi-rotor helicopters for public safety, agriculture, aerial imaging, & more. As a leader who helped shape the industry, Draganfly’s focus is on the sale of drone products and services, contract engineering & custom integration product development, and health monitoring products and services.

About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and relationship‑driven Canadian Military & Federal Government Business Development Executive to help expand Draganfly’s presence within Canada’s military, federal government, and security‑sensitive sectors.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales instincts, deep familiarity with government environments, and the credibility that comes with military or federal experience. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, navigating procurement pathways, and building trust‑based relationships across the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), federal agencies, and adjacent government organizations.

If you’re someone who thrives in complex environments, understands operational needs, and excels at building long‑term partnerships, you’ll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Canadian military, federal government, intelligence agencies, and related sectors.

Understand and respond to Government RFPs, RFIs, and procurement processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

Provide account management across multiple branches of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business development strategies.

Represent Draganfly at industry events, trade shows, and client demonstrations.

Travel regularly to meet clients, attend demos, and participate in conferences.

Collaborate with internal teams to support client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.

Utilize investigative, analytical, and risk‑assessment skills to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.

Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline progress within CRM tools.

Who are you really?

You bring a strong network within the Canadian military and federal government community — and understand how trust and credibility open doors.

You’re an excellent communicator who thrives in high‑stakes, relationship‑driven environments.

You’re strategic, resilient, and comfortable navigating complex government processes.

You balance sales acumen with integrity, discretion, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

You’re energized by autonomy and can manage relationships, pipelines, and priorities independently.

You’re naturally curious, analytical, and skilled at identifying opportunities others may overlook.

You bring a forward‑thinking approach and enjoy exploring creative solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or government/military relationship management.

Military, intelligence, or government relations background is required.

Strong, established connections within the Canadian federal and military ecosystem.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working with federal procurement and contract negotiation processes.

Familiarity with investigative techniques and risk assessment methodologies.

Operational knowledge of drones is an asset.

Current or past security clearance is a significant advantage (ability to regain clearance is beneficial).

Former CAF service is an asset but not required.

Compensation package:

Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $150,000

Comprehensive medical and dental benefits, including a Health Spending Account.

Matching RRSP program.

Generous time‑off program, including vacation, wellness days, and the week off between Christmas and New…
