Groupe Marcelle is looking for a Specialist, Quality Assurance & Compliance for a full‑time temporary 12‑month contract.
Reporting to the Compliance Supervisor, the Specialist, Quality Assurance & Compliance is responsible for ensuring adherence to standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the facility. In this role, you will manage the Quality Assurance system to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
How you’ll make an impactYou will ensure that all suppliers (raw materials, components, and critical services) meet the company’s quality standards and current regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring that each supplier complies with GMP requirements. You are the guardian of the compliance of Quality Agreements and the owner of Change Controls impacting externally sourced materials or services.
Your responsibilities will be- Execute the supplier qualification program
- Conduct GMP audits, onsite or remote, to verify the compliance of quality systems (documentation system, deviations, CAPA, training)
- Create and maintain the Approved Supplier List
- Negotiate and draft GMP technical agreements defining responsibilities for release, storage, and transport
- Ensure each agreement includes notification obligations in the event of a deviation or major change
- Manage the Change Control program (monitor KPIs, ensure timelines are met, maintain documentation compliance, and support continuous improvement)
- Ensure risk assessments are properly completed and documented
- Ensure required validations, re-qualifications, or regulatory submissions are completed before implementation
- Coordinate change review meetings as needed
- Contribute to annual product quality reviews (PQR/APQR) for the supplier-related components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology) or a diploma in Quality Assurance or any related field
- More than five (5) years of experience in compliance and quality assurance within the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industry
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Familiarity with current regulatory requirements
- Broad understanding of all QA domains, with expertise in certain specialized areas
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.
- Impeccable with documentation, demonstrating strong data integrity
- Able to apply critical thinking and sound analytical skills
- Equipped with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, autonomous, and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative
- Demonstrates leadership
- Team‑ oriented and collaborative
Hybrid work mode – minimum four (4) days per week in the office, one (1) day remote.
