We are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and lead our commitment to food safety excellence across our Montreal and Houston facilities.
What You'll Do
As our QA Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our quality management and food safety systems across two dynamic facilities. This is your chance to make a real impact, leading quality initiatives that directly influence product safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Lead Quality Excellence
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance programs for both Montreal and Houston facilities
- Ensure full compliance with FDA, CFIA, HACCP, and GFSI standards (SQF, BRC, or FSSC 22000)
- Manage internal and external audits with a focus on continuous improvement
- Lead and mentor quality assurance teams at both locations
- Foster consistency in quality standards and practices across facilities
- Partner with operations managers to achieve shared quality objectives
- Oversee food safety plans, allergen control, and sanitation programs
- Manage product testing protocols and supplier quality programs
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances using root cause analysis
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and customer audits
- Spearhead quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and waste
- Analyze quality metrics and present actionable insights to leadership
- Build a strong quality culture through engaging training programs
- Implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance operations
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- 5-7 years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Expert knowledge of FDA, CFIA regulations, and food safety standards
- Strong grasp of GMPs and food safety culture
- Multi-site operations management experience
- Proficiency in quality management software and statistical analysis
- Certifications in HACCP, PCQI, or GFSI schemes
- Natural leadership abilities with a talent for team development
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Flexibility to travel twice per year between Montreal and Houston
