Quality Director
Join Aecon Group Inc. (Aecon) as a Quality Director to lead quality strategy for transformative transit projects across North America.
Location:
Quebec City (on‑site). The role requires fluency in English and French.

- Demonstrate commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of QMS processes that comply with applicable standards, codes and regulations.
- Report QMS performance to top management and raise QMS awareness across the division.
- Establish and maintain QMS within projects, audit and report on its performance.
- Determine and implement actions required to ensure QMS achieves intended results.
- Verify that all quality documentation conforms to applicable project requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate independent, internal and external quality audits and report findings.
- Develop and implement programs for corrective action and opportunities for improvement.
- Act as the primary representative for projects relating to Quality Management.
- Prepare quality reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
- Review or develop terms and conditions of contracts between owners and Aecon, and ensure policy compliance.
- Keep abreast of quality regulations, codes and standards, advising management of changes.
- Lead, manage and ensure proper training is developed and conducted.
- Set QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved.
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
- Advocate an inclusive culture, equity, and belonging within engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science‑related field.
- Minimum 20 years industry experience in quality assurance within construction.
- Minimum 10 years leading and managing teams.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Extensive knowledge of quality system regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to coordinate quality assurance processes and mentor teams.
- Experience in planning and managing quality assurance and internal processes.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑resolution skills.
- Commercial acumen and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong written, oral, and presentational communication skills.

Benefits:
Competitive salary, inclusive of but not limited to health, dental, retirement, and allowances. Specific compensation: CA $115,000 – CA $120,000 (Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area).
