Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanic is the primary resource for all building and production equipment maintenance. They are responsible for responding promptly to mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic breakdowns and ensuring the reliability of all installations. The Electromechanic performs the necessary interventions to maintain the integrity of equipment and the building, ensuring operations are carried out safely, on schedule, and in compliance with health and safety standards and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Respond to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical).
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machines.
- Inspect daily production areas, kitchen, common areas, offices, and outdoor spaces to identify maintenance needs.
- Prioritize maintenance interventions efficiently.
- Install, repair, move, or replace various equipment (furniture, doors, production equipment, lighting, etc.).
- Manage the inventory of maintenance tools and materials.
- Carry out all general building maintenance tasks as required.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
- Update the computer maintenance system.
- DEP in Electromechanics.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role; experience in a food environment is an asset.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tools and machines.
- Strong understanding of equipment plans and user manuals.
- Organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness, manual dexterity, and thoroughness.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in French (oral and written).
