Registered Apprenticeship certificate - Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years Tasks - Advise press crew on product specifications or material requirements
- Prepare production schedules
- Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required
- Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity
- Plan production methods
- Instruct apprentices
- Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run
- Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment
- Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations Screening questions
