Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, project and work package planning & scheduling, and quality management)Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong stakeholder engagement skillsTime Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projectsCollaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolutionMinimum 8-10 years’ experience project managing electronic health-related projects, ideally with experience deploying clinical software systemsDemonstrated knowledge of Lab Information Systems (LIS’s), lab workflows and associated business processes within hospitals, patient admissions, health records and laboratoriesPast Experience working with the Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS), will be of significant benefitDemonstrated experience managing projects or programs in Matrix organizational environmentsDeliverables include, but are not limited to:
Establish and facilitate a governance and advisory committee(s)Project portfolio and stakeholder managementSite / Client Engagement and Client ManagementSite Contract ManagementProject Go-live Schedule per Clinical SiteProject Risk/Issue ManagementService Management Documentation & Warranty SupportDeployment Reporting and TrackingResponsibilities:
The Senior Program Manager is responsible to oversee a portfolio of projects related to the Lab digitization strategy, including management of issues, risks and service change requests to ensure successful and on-time deployment of clients.
