- Promote and ensure teamwork between the various departments and Suppliers of Technical Publications.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the group both administrative and technical oversight. You will be responsible for the Performance Management Process (PMP) and development of the employees in your group.
- Work closely with Human Resources to perform recruitment as per department hiring plan.
- Monitor the performance of software tools (authoring, publishing, IETP, etc) and ensure timely troubleshooting and corrective actions are implemented when required.
- Identify and implement new software tools and features to both improve internal productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Provide medium and long‑term vision for Technical Publications software requirements.
- You have a college or university diploma in aerospace or equivalent, combined with a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in Technical Publications.
- You have a good background in supervising experienced employees.
- You must be an effective leader who can: develop a strong team, develop and implement new processes and tools, lead process improvement initiatives, deliver results, is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities.
- You must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English. French is an asset.
- You are very familiar with ATA and S1000D standards along with commonly used Technical Publications authoring systems and IETPs
- You exercise your leadership in accordance with the vision and values of Bombardier Aerospace and have good initiative, commitment, entrepreneurship, innovation and judgment.
- You are familiar with Agile project methodology
