About the Role
We are seeking a Wills & Estates Lawyer with strong experience in Wills, Testamentary Trusts, and Estates to join a growing Ottawa office.
Responsibilities
Prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Testamentary Trusts, including complex Wills
Manage all aspects of estate administration
Provide high-quality legal opinions, advice, and documentation
Work closely with clients and colleagues in a collaborative team environment
Requirements
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 3 years of experience in Wills, Estates, and Testamentary Trusts
Strong knowledge of legal procedures and statutes
Excellent drafting, analytical, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to manage complex issues while considering client and team wellbeing
Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Professional, client-focused, and proactive
Assets
Experience in Real Estate
STEP membership
Bilingualism
Existing book of business (not required)
