We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Consumer Experience team. Reporting to the Manager of Consumer Experience, you will play a key role in elevating the discovery, purchase and post-purchase journeys and processes that fuel our Digital Retail eCommerce and Omnichannel Experience strategy.
In this role, you will oversee business requirements gathering across multiple consumer‑facing solutions and processes and collaborate closely with teams across the organization to design solutions that elevate the customer experience. You will act as a strategic connector between business stakeholders, digital teams, and technology partners to ensure our consumer journeys and operational workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Lead end-to-end business requirements gathering for consumer experience initiatives across eCommerce, post-purchase, customer care, and digital retail platforms, working with teams across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
Participate in and contribute to solution design, ensuring proposed capabilities and data requirements meet business objectives, integrate seamlessly into existing systems, and support future scalability.
Analyze cost, operational, and technical implications to inform business requirements, ensuring solutions align with customer journeys and delivery constraints.
Work within an Agile environment to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and readiness for development teams working on consumer‑centric features and enhancements.
Facilitate and/or execute functional unit testing (FUT), system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate new features, identify gaps, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational challenges, recommending enhancements, and documenting updated processes and solutions.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
5+ years of experience in a consumer‑facing, eCommerce, or retail environment, ideally supporting digital transformation or customer experience initiatives.
Proven experience (5+ years) in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or similar roles involving requirements gathering, process mapping, and cross‑functional alignment.
Strong understanding of customer journeys, digital workflows, and omnichannel retail processes-from discovery through post‑purchase support.
Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog management, user story creation, and sprint planning.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business interdependencies, evaluate KPIs, and provide meaningful recommendations tied to customer and business outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and translating complex concepts into clear, user‑friendly documentation.
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with the adaptability needed to work in a fast‑paced, evolving organization.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Office 365, Google Suite, and process‑mapping tools; familiarity with eCommerce platforms, customer‑support systems or digital accessibility best practices is considered an asset.
