Overview
The Martech Loyalty Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the technical and operational aspects of the Company’s new loyalty program. This role focuses on ensuring seamless integration between the Loyalty Program Manager’s vision, assortment, POS and digital marketing tools to deliver personalized, data-driven, customer experiences. The Specialist will work closely with the Loyalty Program Manager and cross-functional teams to execute campaigns, analyze data, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance program performance and drive customer engagement.

Responsibilities
Platform Management and Optimization

Maintain and configure loyalty program technology, including program rules, tiers, points, discount promotions and rewards within the platform.

Implement and optimize customer segmentation within loyalty and marketing automation tools to personalize engagement initiatives.

Set-up and monitor targeting/segmentation criteria.

Manage the web portal and loyalty section of the mobile application, ensuring loyalty offers and content, rewards and account balances, are accurately displayed.

Future State, Gamification:
Configure and update game mechanics and structure within the platform, setting up game rules (odds, prizes, etc.).

Campaign Execution & Automation

Design, develop, and maintain seamless, engaging, and high-performance omnichannel customer journeys (welcome, re-activation, win-back, etc.) for all channels (SMS, Emails, Push, app notifications).

Configure one-off campaigns, integrate content, configure triggers for personalized communications and set-up targeting/segmentation logic.

Implement personalization and segmentation strategies using martech tools.

Data Management & Reporting

Ensure data integrity within loyalty systems and marketing automation platforms.

Run multivariate tests, ensure all changes – renderings, links, personalization (including campaigns) are tested (QA) and validated before deployment.

Generate reports and dashboards to track campaign performance (open, click, deliverability) and member engagement.

Track and resolve bugs across both app and web environments.

Future State, Gamification:
Perform game testing (QA), deployment, and optimization.

Integration & Technical Support

Support integration of loyalty systems with POS, mobile apps, and other platforms.

Collaborate with IT and external partners to implement new features and enhancements.

Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution.

Compliance & Security

Ensure all data handling complies with privacy regulations and Company policies.

Monitor system security and user access controls.

Education, Specialized Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in marketing technology, CRM management, or loyalty program operations.

Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.

Proficiency in loyalty and gamification platforms.

Proficiency in data analytics tools, experience with Tableau an asset.

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Familiar with mobile app-based loyalty programs and digital engagement strategies.

Experience in retail or fuel/convenience industry is considered an asset.

Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
