Site Reliability Engineer Senior

Role Overview:

This position sits within the Digital and Data Service department of the Group COO. The mission is to ensure reliability, resilience, and performance of the Dev Ops Service Platform by applying SRE principles. The role combines platform reliability engineering, Dev Ops practices, toolchain management, and support for developer adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Support & Adoption:

• Guarantee stability/availability of CI/CD services and tools (Git, Jenkins/Team City, Nexus, Sonar, XLDeploy, etc.).
• Follow SLA commitments in a global Follow-the-Sun support model.
• Enforce compliance with security standards.
• Assist dev teams in industrializing their CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as regional CI/CD expert for AMER.

Development & Evolution:

• Build prototypes and POCs for new tooling.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain CI/CD tools (both on-prem and Azure).
• Drive automation and reduce manual workload (e.g., chatbots).
• Contribute to Azure cloud evolution of the Dev Ops platform.
• Define SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, implement monitoring & KPIs.

Knowledge Sharing:

• Produce documentation & processes.
• Evangelize best practices in CD/Dev Ops.
• Participate in internal communities of practice.

Must-Have Skills:

• Core technical stack:
  Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, monitoring tools.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years in development/admin of Software Factory tools.

Candidate Fit (Ideal Profile):

• A senior Dev Ops/SRE with:
  • Proven experience running and scaling CI/CD toolchains in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) setups.
  • Hands-on in automation (Python, Bash) and observability (monitoring/alerting).
  • Comfortable with multi-regional collaboration (Montreal, Paris, Bangalore).
  • Skilled in mentorship, documentation, and evangelizing Dev Ops practices.
• Strong balance of technical expertise (tools, automation, cloud migration) and soft skills (client focus, autonomy, communication).

Language: French, English.

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.

• Agir comme expert régional CI/CD pour la zone AMER.

Développement & Évolution:

• Construire des prototypes et réaliser des POC pour de nouveaux outils.
• Installer, mettre à jour et maintenir les outils CI/CD (on-premise et Azure).
• Piloter l’automatisation et réduire la charge de support manuel (ex. chatbots).
• Contribuer à l’évolution de la plateforme Dev Ops sur Azure Cloud.
• Définir les SLO/SLI/SLA, mettre en place le monitoring et les KPI.
